Step into Colours of Makassar — an artistic VR journey unveiling the hidden colours, stories, and culture of Indonesia’s coastal gem.
Marketing Campaign
The project touches on the topic of tourism, in an effort to raise awareness about the hidden potentials of Makassar, my hometown, through an artistic vision (ranging from a VR tour, video trailer, Instagram comic, postcards, to stickers). The interactive tour encourages the viewers to find out more and potentially visit Makassar by themselves.
360 Interactive VR Tour
The interactive tour provides a lot of touchpoints that encourages the viewers to explore and click the hand-drawn visuals representing the highlights of Makassar. The music that accompanies each scene also creates a more immersive experience. Additionally, the hidden promotions and fun mascot characters make the tour more interesting.
Video Trailer

Concept board
In order to promote the virtual tour, and invite more eyes to Makassar, the project is introduced to Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube. Additionally, a special website was designed to handle the traffic. These portals can be accesed below:

NAFA "The Grad Expectations 2023" Exhibition
I was given the opportunity to display my work for my Graduation Show, so I prepared some special free stickers that can be grabbed by any visitor. I also provided a simple VR headset if they are interested to see how it looks like in 360.

Temu Nasional Profesional dan Usahawan Katolik 2023
I was given another opportunity to showcase my work at the "Temu Nasional Profesional dan Usahawan Katolik 2023" in Makassar, Indonesia. It was an honour to have it displayed in the city I was actively promoting!
This incredible project can only reach its final grandeur with the help of my lecturers, Dan Wong, Tan Zi Xi, Marie Toh, and Jacinta Freeman. As well as supportive friends and family who accompanied me during the toughest times.
