Internship with SPH Media
Graphic Design - Merchandise Design
I was given the opportunity to work as a Graphic Designer for the SPH Radio stations in SPH Media for 4 months from August to November 2022.
It was an honour to work with SPH Radio, and my supervisors were really kind and welcoming to my contribution. I worked on various projects ranging from logo, merch to digital assets design.
I was responsible mostly on helping the supervisor to create designs, and I worked with Nolan to create the designs for the English Radios. At times, the main supervisor, Xiaoyi, would also call for my participation and offered me some works from the Chinese Radios.
They were both really kind and always giving critical feedback, especially Xiaoyi. She gave a lot of interesting pointers about the creative industry, and treated the interns like her own family members. Overall, my experience working with SPH Radio was really an eye-opening opportunity, and helped me to understand my strengths and weaknesses better.
Shoutout to Anatta, my fellow intern from NAFA, as she helped me out a lot during times when everything was too much for me to handle.
